Konect Magazine Volume 101 | Page 4

Editor's Note From disruptive barriers to out-of-this-world inventions, this issue celebrates the innovators and their relentless need to Konquer all things possible. As you prepare to embark on a new year, stop and take a moment to reflect on the things you’ve accomplished thus far, rather than looming over goals that weren’t accomplished. Rather you didn’t meet a goal because of your lack of courage, or didn’t meet a goal due to giving someone else the power to rewrite your story, understand that those difficult trials are lessons which needed to take place in order to learn what works, and what doesn’t. In layman’s terms, don’t beat yourself up about it! Instead declare 2016 to be the year to make a comeback from those set backs. Despite the challenging circumstances you’ve encountered this year, set out to make 2016 the year of accomplishments. Remember that every accomplishment starts with the decision to try. The greatest accomplishment occurs when you’re able to rise again after you fall. Regardless of what you set out to accomplish, understand that there will be doubters, there will be non-believers, and then there will be you, proving them wrong. As the clock strikes midnight, representing a new year and a new day, adjust with the time and turn the page on 2015. Adapt to the change and don’t allow the change to adapt you. Have a safe, and happy new year filled with visions and goals.
