Kol Hakavod, a newsletter celebrating achievements of the AJR community, is published twice yearly( Winter and Summer editions). Alumni, students, and faculty are invited to send information about published articles and special programs, etc, including links where appropriate, to KolHaKavod @ ajr. edu.
The Academy for Jewish Religion( AJR), the first pluralistic Jewish seminary, is excited to be celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026. AJR is the only Jewish seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. We educate and ordain rabbis and cantors as equal partners to meet the evolving needs of Jewish communities with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. We also offer an MA in Jewish Studies.
