The Foundation protects humanity from the effects of such anomalies, as well as the anomalies themselves, until such time as they are completely comprehensible and new scientific theories based on their properties and behavior can be enunciated. The Foundation can also neutralize or destroy anomalies as a last resort if it is considered too dangerous to contain them.
Protect
The Foundation ensures anomalies with the goal of preventing them from falling into the hands of civil or rival agencies through intensive observation and surveillance, and acting to intercept such anomalies at the slightest opportunity.
Secure
The Foundation contains anomalies in order to avoid the development of its influence or its effects through transfer, concealment or dismantling of such anomalies or through the suppression or prevention of the public dissemination of all related information.
