Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

An extensive workshop was conducted by SSA
Business solutions from 21st to 24th August, 2014
at SIMSR providing the students a lucid
understanding of the concepts related to Lean Six
Sigma. The course outline was spread across 4
days wherein students were exposed to several
statistical tools and models in the field of
Operations Management.
The workshop was designed in such a manner so
as to provide a holistic view about Lean
manufacturing combined with Six Sigma
processes. This included an understanding of the
changing business scenario and developments,
introduction to Lean Six Sigma and the 'RDMAIC'
approach to process improvements.

Finally upon the completion of the 4 day workshop,
a test was conducted by SSA based on the study
material provided. Students securing 75% and
above were conferred with Green Belt Certification
in Six Sigma. 25 students spread across all
streams of management (marketing, finance,
operations, retail and communications) were
awarded the certificate on successfully completing
the course and passing the examination.
The Six Sigma Certification workshop was just one
of the many bright initiatives taken up by FORSE to
give the students a cut throat advantage stepping
into the world of Operations Management. With the
successful participation in this workshop students
can claim to have gained an insight on several
concepts related to world class manufacturing.
