So , with a great deal of embarrassment and my tail firmly between my legs , I booked the bike into a local motorcycle shop to get the professionals to finish the job . As we thought , the front and rear tyres had not seated on the bead properly , and the front needed a balance too . As I said , I ’ d never done this before , so it was definitely a learning
experience . In fact , I now feel confident I ’ d know what to do if I ended up in the middle of nowhere with a flat tyre . That said , I ’ m sure I would rather walk to find some phone signal than fight with those Mitas E07 + sidewalls again . I ’ ll let you know my thoughts on the change to Mitas E07 + tyres in a future edition of Kiwi Rider .
