MV AGUSTA HONOURS AGOSTINI

MV Agusta ’ s latest lustful creation honours the GOAT himself , Giacomo Agostini , with a limited run variant of the already hot-to-trot Superveloce . The fourth extra special Superveloce ( following the Serie Oro , 75th Anniversary and Alpine editions ) was revealed at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Misano , the Superveloce Ago was ridden around the track by the man himself , back in race leathers for the special parade lap reveal . Limited to a run of just 311 examples - the number chosen to mark each of Agostini ’ s race wins – the first 15 bikes being extra special as they commemorate the 15 world titles won by the greatest road racer to have ever lived . The build plate signifying where the bikes stand in the 311 total is , appropriately , finished in carbon fibre and mounted to the leather tank strap on top of the fuel tank . The first 15 bikes are further set apart with unique graphics carrying both the trophy and the year of the world title won by Agostini . The Bergamo-based champion ’ s personal

signature represents a further indelible value which makes this piece of motorcycle art even more desired by collectors . Superveloce Ago is set apart from the base Superveloce by its stunning livery on top of carbon fibre bodywork . Thanks to a new higher windshield , the
Superveloce Ago not only offers better protection , but has a distinctive look with a decidedly closer resemblance to the MV Agusta ’ s three-cylinder race bikes ridden by Agostini . The wheels are even spoked instead of the usual cast aluminium units found on the rest of the Superveloce range as a further nod to the days when Ago rode to glory .
