TRIUMPH TEAMS UP WITH BEELINE FOR RIDER NAVIGATION

T riumph Motorcycles has announced that it will be offering a new navigation accessory via dealerships , targeted at existing owners and owners of the brand ’ s modern classic machines . Following the debut of Triumph ’ s own SOS app earlier this year , the British motorcycle brand is teaming up with Beeline , a company already well established in the bike navigation world , to bring Triumph branded Beeline navigators to the Triumph accessories range . Triumph says the Beeline system is designed to give riders all the benefits of this incredibly easy to use and elegant navigation system , with a minimal , stylish and robust design . The Beeline simply mounts to the handlebar with a quick-release twist-lock system and elasticated strap mount . It connects via Bluetooth to the rider ’ s smartphone , then displays navigation instructions on its IP67- rated waterproof screen in one of two navigation modes . The first mode is dubbed Route , which provides turn-by-turn navigation . The second is Compass , which enables the rider to follow a simple compass heading to reach the desired destination . Currently limited to navigation coverage in the UK , Europe , USA , Canada , Australia , New Zealand , and Japan , the Beeline is priced at $ 449 and can be ordered through Triumph dealers .
