KTM BACKS WORLD ADVENTURE WEEK
I t ’ s fair to say that when it comes to creating community , KTM is one of the top brands in the field . Already with one of the most passionate communities of adventure riders , KTM is spreading out to help grow the adventure riding community as a whole by backing the upcoming World Adventure Week . Slated to take place over the week of July 5-11 , and open to all riders regardless of brand affiliation , World Adventure Week is part challenge , part adventure . Each rider is challenged to ride 1000km of adventure riding throughout the week , with the most adventurous riders set to be rewarded with daily and weekly prizes and the chance to be featured on theworldadventureweek . com and KTM ’ s global social media channels . There will also be different challenges to complete on each of the seven days , with all riders completing 1000 km or more in total receiving a personalised award . KTM is backing World Adventure Week alongside Riser – a mobile based app designed to track and share motorcycle rides – with the goal being to strengthen the growing Adventure community and bring together riders who share the passion for Adventure motorcycling . 454 UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
D istributors of ‘ good times since ages ago ’, local dirt gear focused importer 454 Supply Co is now under new ownership , with Import Distribution Limited ( the team behind formula . co . nz ) taking over the business from Nigel Wood . After relocating away from 454 ’ s home base in Christchurch , Wood decided to sell the business to focus on family and his other business closer to home , with Formula taking over the running of 454 at the beginning of this month .
However , despite the change of ownership , little will change for us on the receiving end of 454 ’ s goodies . The company will still be based out of Christchurch with the same key staff working behind the scenes . 454 Supply Co will soon also have a new website ( 454 . co . nz ) and will continue to stock the same top brands including Thor , SW Motech , MotoZ tyres and more .
