DUCATI ’ S MotoE BIKE REVEALED

The future of electric racing has arrived with Ducati revealing the future MotoE bike in detail , and the future looks good ! Last year Ducati was announced to be the sole supplier of the FIM MotoE World Cup from the 2023 season , with pics of the bike track testing following in December . After a quiet few months , Ducati has pulled the covers off once again and also given us the bike ’ s name as well as a few other key details . Known as the “ V21L ” in Borgo Panigale , next year Ducati will be responsible for filling the MotoE grid with 18 bikes on the track during each race weekend .

Ducati ’ s prototype seems to fit the bill in more ways than one to meet the expectations of Dorna and the FIM . The V21L prototype tips the scales a full 12kg lighter than the stated minimum requirements with a total weight of 225kg , while maximum power and torque figures are equally impressive . Ducati claims 150hp ( 110kW ) and 140Nm respectively , with the bike able to reach a speed of 275km / h on a circuit like Italy ’ s Mugello . “ The world is going through a complex period and environmental sustainability is an element that all individuals and all companies must consider a priority if we want to preserve the
