ABS controls the anti-lock braking system and it works very well without being too intrusive . The Benelli stops great although the ABS can ’ t be switched off , so stoppies will not be your thing on this bike . At 220kg dry , the 752S can hardly be described as light weight , but to be fair it never felt heavy to ride . This probably comes from its sensible proportions and easy handling nature . It is not too big , while still being roomy for most yet having a manageable seat height for shorter riders . The fuel tank holds 14.5 litres with a two-litre reserve . Benelli gives fuel economy figures of 20km per litre ( 5l per 100km ), offering almost a
300km range to empty ... but I can ’ t help thinking this may be a little on the optimistic side in the real world .
WRAP-UP It is attractive and well-made , but not without the odd assembly quirk ; the front mudguard has a mounting bracket from the Brembo caliper which seems an afterthought and my only other slightly negative observation was the twin tube swingarm looked a whisker agricultural . Overall though , the Benelli 752S is a fun bike , well-priced and it impresses . It is supremely rider friendly , capable and quite versatile and I think it will , rightly , win many fans .
