NEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON 1250 ON THE WAY

H arley-Davidson ’ s first foray into the adventure bike market - the Pan America - is still a few weeks away from arriving in New Zealand dealerships , the good ol ‘ boys from Milwaukee aren ’ t slowing down and are already teasing the release of their second model to use the Pan America ’ s 150hp Revolution Max V-Twin . “ Following the successful launch of our first adventure touring motorcycle , the Pan America , we are excited to reveal another all-new motorcycle , built on the Revolution Max platform in the sport segment , showcasing unmatched Harley-Davidson technology , performance and style .” said Jochen Zeitz , chairman , president , and CEO Harley-Davidson .

While Zeitz mentions the sport segment , this has meant something quite different to Harley- Davidson than it has to us . It almost sounds like Zeitz could be talking about the return of the Harley-Davidson Bronx to the future vehicles lineup with his mention of the sport segment , but the accompanying photo with Harley ’ s tease of the new bike strongly suggests this will not be the case . Originally announced at the same time as the Pan America , the Bronx was a streetfighter styled naked , designed to take on the European giants of the sector and was mysteriously dropped from Harley-Davidson ’ s future vehicles web page in 2020 .
