NZ Motorcycling has lost a legend . Quite simply , Mike was an inspiration , to so many and in so many ways . Mike lived life to the full ,
always on the go , giving 125 % to anything he committed himself to . A rough diamond , with a mischievous and fun loving nature and a twinkle in his eyes . A straight shooter , a very special bloke , an exemplary human , always a leader and a doer . Loyal , always willing to helpout , lend an ear ( and kick me and many others up the backside when we needed it ). I feel very honoured to have been able to call Mike my friend . Shine Mike , I ’ m gutted you left us too soon , I will miss our chats over
