N ew Zealand ’ s longest-running adventure ride business has officially turned a page with a new owner and a new name to boot . Some 29 years after founding Britton Adventures , founders Mike Britton and Angela Bruce have found someone worthy to take over the successful adventure business as they look to their next challenge overseas . “ We are delighted to say that the time has come to hand on the mantle to a very worthy candidate - Phil Skinner ”, say Mike and Angela . “ We know Phil has the right qualities to do justice to the business and to take it in new and exciting directions .”
Phil Skinner is a familiar name in enduro circles . A lifelong competitor in enduro events including the infamous Red Bull Romaniacs , he also had the privilege of being MNZ Enduro Commissioner for a season . With Phil taking over the reins from the Mike and Angela , the name of the company is changing to adventurerides . co . nz to reflect the new chapter . As for the Mike and Angela , they aren ’ t hanging up their riding boots and now have their focus shifting to their overseas adventure riding business bythebackroads . com
