DUCATI OPENS DIGITAL DOORS TO MUSEUM

S ince April , after the significance of the Pandemic became more widely known , Ducati has been working to digitise much of its business to make it more resilient , and the Italian manufacturer ’ s museum experience is the latest to get the digital touch . Ducati has announced that in lieu of fans getting to the Bologna factory in person , they can now take real guided tours accessible from a PC , smartphone or tablet and be virtually accompanied by the museum ’ s expert guides to discover more on Ducati ’ s essence and history . The exhibition can be visited through the Ducati Museum Online Journey and will see the introduction of some contents from the “ Anatomy of Speed ” show . The temporary exhibition created by Ducati in 2019 tells how aerodynamics is a fundamental component underlying the concept of performance . The virtual visit has a maximum duration of about 45 minutes and is aimed at all enthusiasts of motoring history who , while waiting to be able to admire the motorcycles exhibited at the Ducati Museum in person , still wish to enjoy a Ducati experience and discover its history . During the tour , users also have the possibility to interact with the guide through the platform ’ s Q & A system . The cost of the Ducati Museum Online Journey is € 10 ( around $ 17 ) with four digital tours running each week , with Wednesday at 5am and Saturday at 9pm running in English .
