REIJU DIRT BIKES SET FOR NZ

Spanish firm Reiju ( pronounced Rey- You ) Motorcycles are soon set to arrive on our shores with their potent range of two-stroke enduro machines . While local distributor Urban Moto Imports is still finalising New Zealand dealers for the Reiju brand , pricing and spec have been announced for the MR enduro range including the rangetopping limited edition MR Six Days Italia . Priced from $ 13,690 , the Reiju covers all the major boxes with its lineup of pure two-stroke goodness . Surprisingly , Rieju brings over 75 years of Spanish heritage to the Australasian market , with the line-up split across the MR PRO ( available in 250 and 300 ), MR RACING ( available in 250 and 300 ), and the MR RANGER ( available in 200 and 300 ) families . Then we get the big daddy of the lot , the limited-run MR 300 Six Days Italia , which tops the price sheet at $ 18,990 with only 200 expected to be produced worldwide . The entry point into the Reiju range is the MR Ranger , which is aimed less at the extreme competition end of the enduro world and more at the weekend warrior looking for a fun machine to take them out on trails with their mates . A less physically intimidating machine thanks to its lower seat height , the Ranger is set to be available in both 200 and 300cc guises , the MR Ranger features a retuned version of the Reiju two-stroke , which is meant to be more novice-friendly as well as smoother to operate . Stepping Reiju into the world of competition is the MR Racing range , which will be offered in 250 or 300cc displacements . Designed to be serious performers and offering great bang-for-buck , the Racing range feature a KYB 48mm AOS fork and fully adjustable KYB shock , with almost 12 inches of travel front and rear . The use of quality parts continues to the brakes with Nissin brake master cylinders and calipers providing the perfect balance of feel and power .
