HORSES FOR COURSES Ok, these are both very capable bikes and both have their devotees. We gave the GS-A the full KR test experience... well over a thousand kilometres of gravel, mud, rocks, and sandy beaches. Hell, even farmland jumps and, of course, some decent tarmac blasting, wet and dry... and I loved it. We used the GS model as a comparison on smaller rides local to the KR office. The engines in both machines are superb with a lovely power delivery – I particularly like the backfire sound as it hits the limiter while drifting on gravel.
