Renthal used 50-plus years of experience
making and using handlebars to develop
the R-Works Fatbar 36, perhaps the ultimate
in lightweight motocross handlebars. They
use a super-strong Zarilium aluminium alloy
exclusive to Renthal to create high strength at
the lowest possible weight. They’re 36% lighter
than Renthal’s standard 28mm diameter
Fatbar, previously the lightest MX bar available.
The 36mm clamping diameter tapers down to
a conventional 22mm control section at each
end, maximising efficiencies in wall thickness
along the entire length of the handlebar to
reduce weight.
