Just to show there was a bit of life left in
the old British tank, the 2016 issue featured
the BSA Rocket three, which together with
the Triumph Trident was perhaps the last
attempt to hold a stake in the big bike

market. The JPS Norton, very likely Britain’s
last great race bike, was also part of this
final stand. Until of course the modern-day
Triumphs came along.
I’ve had to miss out a lot, but time and
space waits for no man, or woman. It’s been
a rewarding 13-years.
