SPRINGING FORTH P Suspension is set to launch a series of new bolt-on upgrade kits for popular Yamaha and KTM street machines. WP Suspension – you know, the guys owned by KTM who make some of the best springers in the world – is set to drop new bolt-on units to popular models known to be in need of a little tickle in the suspension department. The WP APEX PRO is designed to add plenty of adjustment to further enhance the abilities of the likes of Yamaha’s MT-09 and KTM’s 790 Duke with an open-cartridge system, combined with high-quality materials which WP says will ensure optimum performance and responsiveness. The range is also set to be expanded in the near future to accommodate bikes from BMW, Kawasaki and Husqvarna. While the KTM 790 Adventure R is still a number of months away (nearest estimates have the bike arriving in NZ Dealers for June) WP already has an upgraded rear shock available to ensure the mid-sized KTM Adventure will be able to go further off the beaten track. The new XPLOR PRO has built specifically for the KTM 790 Adventure R, with the shock absorber being a fully adjustable unit to match the factory forks of the 790 ADV R. This should ensure that the new ADV R is quick and easy to tune to any rider’s needs while providing improved shock absorption and handling over the standard item. KIWI RIDER 15
