DAY THREE
Another big day and more beautiful
scenery. The Lammermoor Range was a
blast as was the Serpentine Church. So
much history and with an adventure bike it
gives you the opportunity to get out there
and see it. Somewhere after Lake Benmore
in the black forest I felt my rear playing up.
Flat tyre. I could pretty much smell the end
so rode it in to Fairlie for a cold beer.
Well done to all the riders taking part in this

event. It was cool to see new riders getting
into it. A shout out to Nadia who had never
ridden off the road before and was given a
friend’s DR650 and completed the event with
no issues and a massive smile! And to the
guy with the new Africa Twin that was on his
side in the snow and the older gentleman
riding a Triumph Scrambler. Also thanks to
Epic Events for putting on a great event.
