Luke O’’Reilly - a photographer amongst kiters Being a photographer who’s new to the world of Kite Surfing I wasn’t sure what to expect on this trip, sure I’ve photographed the sport before, but never at this level of popularity. It goes without saying that when stood in the riders pen footsteps away from some of the international champions we know today, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. Positioning myself at the waters edge whilst these pros executed their tricks several feet above my head challenged my skills as a sports photographer, but they didn’t hold back for the judges, or the camera.
