PEACEFUL bliss
This master bedroom is an oasis for the busy parents of three teenage children and is designed to be a place where they can escape from the stress of life . It is a peaceful , cozy space that allows the couple to truly rest and relax away from the chaos outside .
The master bedroom previously had large pieces of furniture making the room feel overcrowded and tight . Given the small footprint of the space , we allowed the space to feel more open by adding smaller scale furnishings which are more in line with the proportions of the space .
The homeowner loves blues , grays and yellows . The home is primarily neutral and she wasn ’ t interested in a neutral palette in this space . She wanted to incorporate color . The designer selected a deep , rich blue for the feature wall and brought in blues , yellows and warm gold finishes to let the room shine .
