While soaking in the bathtub in the evening , the sunset seen through the trees is calming . You will also be sheltered under the large overhang while watching and listening to the rain as the water descends from the roof into the ravine .
Our homes are the buildings we know best . Ideally , they should offer us everyday experiences that are uplifting . There are many good reasons to have nature all around us , and the empirical evidence has been mounting over the last decade . We are happier , healthier and more productive when we have nature nearby . When you consider your custom home or house renovation you may want to splurge on the bathroom and kitchen . Include in your design thinking the light into the space and what might reside outside it .
