T
hey need no introduction. Le Creuset’s fantastically well made cookware
has been a desirable kitchen essential pretty much since the first volcanic
casserole cooled in the original foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, in
1925. The same foundry where they are still made today. The last 90 years
has seen that orange cast iron take on a whole rainbow of colours and
finishes in its fired enamel. They have been joined by other ranges that have
attained classic status.
There’s the 3 Ply Stainless Steel cookware that uses a stainless steel wall and an
aluminium core to eliminate hot spots, efficiently conducting heat to make for an even
better cooking experience. This triumvirate of outstanding Le Creuset cookware is
completed by their Toughened Non-Stick range. This features an Extra Tough Non-Stick
interior and exterior, so food releases with ease and requires little or no fat, which means
healthier cooking.
There can’t be a cook in the country who wouldn’t have Le Creuset on their Christmas
list and nestling under the tree on December 25th. The good news is that we have over
£700 worth of Le Creuset’s finest work to give away to one lucky Harts of Stur Kitchen
reader. It must be Christmas!
