A SMALL CONDO IS RENOVATED
TO IMPROVE FUNCTION AND FLOW
WHILE MAXIMIZING ITS STUNNING VIEWS!

CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THE
DESIGN AND LAYOUT OF
THIS CONDO?
KLONDIKE CONTRACTING
The goal was to create
functionality and flow while
maximizing a segregated,
small space. We opened up
the walls between the galley
kitchen, living room, and
sunroom for a smoother flow.
For consistency, we paired gray
oak hand-scraped engineered
flooring with matching gray oak
cabinets. We used a primarily
monochromatic color scheme,
playing more with texture than
color and added pops of color
in the furniture and accessories.
CHT WHAT INSPIRED THE
OVERALL DESIGN?
KC The gorgeous windows
provide an amazing view and
the design was inspired to make
the view the focus of the rooms.
CHT WHAT IS YOUR
FAVORITE DESIGN ELEMENT
IN THIS CONDO?
KC A favorite design feature
is the custom cabinetry with
hidden organizational features
to maximize functionality. There
is also a height difference
between the front countertop
and island which allowed us
to seamlessly accommodate a
steam wall oven directly under
the cooktop.

CHT HOW DID YOU HANDLE
THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES
WITH THE FLOOR TO
CEILING WINDOWS?
KC The window wall created
an awkward corner area.
Between the kitchen and wall,
we maximized the space by
extending the cabinetry and
countertop to create an office,
with incredible natural light and
stunning views. - Klondike Contracting,
