2.6 trillion pounds of rubbish is in our ocean!
This needs to stop…
Recycling is now a huge thing in our lives and as young adults we need to set a good example to the children of our world, to show that it is okay to recycle.
Our next generation are going to have a rough time because of us. We need to help make the world a safe and clean place… We are all driving ourselves into extinction and all those movies and dreams will all come true, for example Walle. We will all be FAT, LAZY and UNSOCIALISED people swirling around in space, leaving our world to crumble!
People are SWIMMING in this!
So to stop our country from (and already is) being a rubbish dump, here are 5 tips for saving the world!
5. Donate clothes… Believe it or not, clothing is one of the biggest contributions to our landfills.
4. Reuse. Do you have a couple of plastic bags? Of course you do! It’s so easy to reuse your plastic bags. If you bring your plastic bags to the supermarket, you won’t need to use more plastic bags, which will eventually make their way into our environment.
3. Buy rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries will save you money and save the environment because if the chemicals get into the environment, it WILL poison animals and kill them.
2. Composting. Composting will stop the stench building up in landfills, which pollutes the air.
1. Recycle!! Recycling is a great way to save our school and the WORLD!!
For example, Miss De Bruin, teacher of textiles, recycles old fabrics so when students of KIS are there, there is fabric to practice on. There is no need to buy new fabric and throw away old fabric that could be very useful!
And that is 5 tips on how to save the world from pollution and poison making their way into our healthy environment!
