turer in France capable of supplying
a quick release video wall mounting
solution with the dimensions Orpheo
required. Still the industry’s slimmest
video wall mount, with a fully retracted
side profile depth of only 48mm, the
DS-VW755S Ultra Slim Quick Release
Video Wall Mount was proposed for the
project.
“Aside from having the right
dimensions, the DS-VW755S mount is
intuitive, hassle-free and easy to install,
reduce the number of people required
on site and simplifying future servicing
and maintenance. The push/pull function
is clear proof of this, enabling the
creation of space and quick access to the
rear of a screen. The gentle force release
mechanism ensures the delicate pixel
structure of the screen is not impacted,”
said Melinda Von Horvath.
Based on this initial response,
Orpheo Group also decided to place an
order for 48 DS-VW665 Flat Video Wall
Mounts from the Peerless-AV range.
Once more, they had to be able to adapt
to the centre’s architecture, taking into
account the slope of the walls.
“With regard to the mounts fitted
to the wall panels sloping out from the
centre of the building, we asked our
design department in Chicago to carry
out some laboratory tests before we
offered them as a solution to Orpheo
Group,” continued Von Horvath.
Rapid response
The mounts were delivered all together
and at the exact specified time for
installation. This timely delivery was
appreciated as the Centre had decided
to open a week before the official
opening, performed by the French
Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and
the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm
Turnbull. “The end result is highly
impressive and I commend the French
team for their hard work on this project,”
added Von Horvath. n
