Pharmacies install subtle in-window mounting solution from Peerless-AV
Peerless-AV has announced that
Healthpoint Technologies Europe, the
leading provider of bespoke digital
signage for pharmacies, and other
retail outlets, is rolling out its Cable
Mount in pharmacy window displays
across the UK. Supporting 46-65in flat
panel displays in portrait or landscape
orientation, the Cable Mount was
chosen for its minimal depth and quick,
simple connection to joists for a secure
and stable foundation.

Cable Mounts have so far been
installed with 47 and 55in DynaScan
screens in portrait orientation in NHS
pharmacies in Bordesley Green in
Birmingham, and Tooting, London. The
screens run content 24/7 so passers-by
the store front have access to useful
health notifications and targeted
messaging relating to health products
and services.
Jonathan Cooke, consultant for
Healthpoint Technologies Europe, was
responsible for both installations. He
commented: “We had previously been
using poles and brackets for in window
digital signage screen installs but
Exertis Medium came to me proposing
the new Cable Mount from Peerless-
AV and it seemed such a simple, neat,
dependable and less cumbersome
solution. You need a solid ceiling
structure to bear the weight of the
display and it’s a straightforward install
once the measurements and distances
have been set.”
The Cable Mount is an incredibly
versatile solution that can be adapted
to suit a wide range of both retail and
commercial applications. Suspended
on high tensile steel wire, the mount
features two keyhole slotted adaptor
plates which attach at any point along
the cable and Kwik-Grip cable hardware
instantly sets the adaptor height
without the use of a tool. n
