Peerless-AV unveils Rotational Mount Interface
Peerless-AV has announced its brand
new Rotational Mount Interfaces for
wall mounts (RMI2W), and trolleys and
stands (RMI2C). These two solutions are
a further development of the rotational
DS-VWM770 video wall mount
introduced in 2015, which was a market
leading development addressing the
requirement to switch displays between
portrait and landscape orientation,
without the need to remove the display.
“Our new RMI2 range builds on the
innovation of the initial 2015 model,
with added versatility and functionality,”
commented Keith Dutch, Managing
Director, Peerless-AV EMEA. “The
Rotational Mount Interfaces enable
installers and end users to take single
displays, video walls, trolleys and
stands to the next level by providing an
endless array of design possibilities.”
Both RMI2W and RMI2C mount
interface models are compatible with

trolleys and stands for quick and
simple conversion into tool-less
rotational solutions that allow endless
screen positioning. These include the
SmartMount Articulating Wall Mount
models SA740P, SA746PU, SA752PU,
SA761PU and SA771PU, and the SR560,
SR575, SR575M, SR575K, SS560 AND
SS575K trolleys and stands. Using
the mount interface, a display can be
rotated from landscape to portrait
orientation with a simple pull of the
spring-loaded lever.
The mount interfaces are tamper
resistant and ideal for standard or
creative digital signage displays. They
support a maximum load of 79kg
(175lb) and allow a display to be
quickly and easily rotated in 15-degree
increments within 360-degrees total
rotation. Adding less than 25mm (on
RMI2C model) and 33mm (on RMI2W
model) to overall depth, they can also
be stored in portrait to save space. n
