And as more and more businesses aim to tap into the millennial market, kiosks are seen as the logical bridge between online and in-store shopping experiences, not to mention a way of tapping into this group’s expectation of immediacy. Traditionally, kiosk technology has been seen as being exclusive to large companies with equally sizeable budgets. But that’s certainly no longer the case. While there will always be the need for standard kiosks, smaller business are now able to join the revolution thanks to smaller and more affordable iPad kiosks offering systems suitable for both staff and customers. As more customer facing businesses embrace kiosks, it’s increasingly important to ensure that the project is well planned and implemented to avoid wasting time, money and potentially turning customers off. We’ll be looking at all these areas and more in this issue of Kiosk Solutions, which I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
