Introducing the
Kingsgate Park Project
Winchester College has embarked upon probably the most comprehensive
development plan the School has had since its foundation in 1382.
Focusing on, but not limited to, the School’s
increasingly stretched sports facilities, the
Kingsgate Park Project (as part of the Southern
Campus Development) will deliver a centre
of sporting excellence that:
Additionally, we will be taking the opportunity
to improve academic teaching facilities for
Design Technology, to centralise the School’s
Support Departments and move the Medical
Centre (Sanatorium) to a more central location.
• will enable the most talented and driven boys
to reach their full potential within the sporting
arena, just as they do in the academic field
• will ensure that everybody can find a sport
they enjoy and take it forward to the level
that suits them
