Final Commendation And Farewell

With faith in Jesus Christ, we reverently bring
the body of Jolanda to be cremated in its human
imperfection. Let us pray with confidence to God,
who gives life to all things, that He will raise this
mortal body to the perfection and the company of
the saints.

May God give her a merciful judgement and forgive
all her sins. May Christ the Good Shepherd, lead her
safely home to be at peace with God our Father.
And may she be happy forever with all the saints in
the presence of the Eternal King.

When Jolanda was baptised he was baptised into
the death of Christ. The Father has raised the Lord
Jesus from the dead, and we too have been raised in
him to live a new life for God.

Through baptism, we have shared in the death of

Jesus in order that we may also share in the death

of Jesus, in order that we may also share in his
resurrection.

In memory of Jolanda’s baptism, we use this Holy
Water, and call on the Lord Jesus to welcome her in
to the glory of eternal life.
