News of Padre
Bishop Bruce MOORE( St John’ s, 1945-49) writes:“ I recently received a letter from Revd C H Sinclair, not an Old Boy but he may well be remembered by a few, who was Padre at Kings 1946- 50. Older students might be glad to know he is still alive and enjoying King’ s news. He wrote,‘ I still receive the magazine – and when I see a familiar name I wonder if it is a son or grandson of someone I remember. I am well but at 92 not very active. I depend a lot on my mobility scooter.... I still manage to get to the local church on Sundays and Holy Days … with all good wishes’.
“ It was good recently to see the new Chapel Close and to hear how well it is being used and appreciated. Thank you for your work creating the King’ s Courier which is much appreciated.”
