this is a lifestyle adjustment and is something to which we
have never truly been exposed. This may mean doing some
research and seeking out the correct information on the
healthiest diet and exercise plan for us as individuals.
Warning Signs: For our spiritual health, we all have
to be obedient to the call of the Holy Spirit and use our
discernment wisely. With the indwelling of His Spirit, we
have an immediate alarm when things aren’t quite right and
are not in agreement. Similarly, with our physical health,
we have to listen to our body. That ache or pain or never
ending fatigue may be your body telling you that something
is wrong. Never ignore the signs, just as you wouldn’t ignore
the nudging and direction of the Holy Spirit in any other
setting.
I challenge you as men and spiritual leaders to begin viewing
your physical health, just as you do your spiritual health.
