Before we get too deep into this article, I deem it
my responsibility to define the word bootleg so
that we will be unified in our thought process
concerning the subject. The term bootleg
derives from the time of the American
Prohibition, and it is in reference to the practice
of smuggling illicit items (especially alcohol) in
the legs of tall boots. The term has since evolved
and it now speaks to illicit, unofficial,
unlicen 6VB&V6
