Welcome & Update

on Key Activities

Welcome to all, it is the time of year for me, on behalf of the ETB Board and myself, to welcome all to the start of the 2015/16 academic year. In particular I want to extend a warm céad míle fáilte to all our new students, trainees and recently recruited staff.

It is our community of people that makes Kildare and Wicklow ETB an exceptional Education and Training Board. You will quickly see that we provide a terrific education and training service underpinned by dedicated, expert and determined educators, trainers and support staff. Our people are our greatest and most valued treasure.

The year ahead is a very exciting one for Kildare and Wicklow ETB with many new developments. We will conclude the full handover of SOLAS training services in both counties to our direct management.

This change is imminent and will involve the transfer in of new staff from surrounding ETBs (most of whom are former FAS/SOLAS staff) all of whom will be warmly welcomed.

Welcome from the Chief Executive
