'Making A Difference'
For the last number of years Curragh/Kildare SCP in conjunction with Kildare Sports Partnership has run an Active Junior Leader training programme. Young people train as junior leaders and then volunteer to help out with the primary Summer camp. Some of these students have experienced many challenges in their own lives and this is an opportunity for them to ‘make a difference’. This year was a very proud year for all involved as they won Kildare Garda District Youth Community Award. A new level 1 Sports Leadership Programme will begin this February as an after school activity.
