5 th TRANSNATIONAL MEETING & MULTIPLIER EVENT

The 5 th transnational meeting was held
between the 21 st and 25 th of May at
Firenze, Italy. This meeting was attended
by representatives of the various partner
entities of the project. The main purpose
of this Transnational Meeting was to
collect
good
practices
regarding
Kiitos@21stCenturyPreschools
core
principles, such as integrating 21st
Century Skills with early language
learning in a socio emotional preschool
educating environment, and learning
music as a second language, through
the pedagogical approach developed by
Audiation Institute under the influence of
Edwin Gordon’ MLT – Music Learning
Theory.
During this meeting we also had a
Multiplier Event occurring in two different
situations: the Conference about the
Project:
“Kiitos@21stCentury
Preschools”, which covered the contents
resume of the IO1 - Handbook
Guidelines
for
Teachers
on
“Kiitos@21stCenturyPreschools”
and
some of the IO2&IO3 resources to teach
English and music in preschool, mainly
targeting the Preschool Teachers and
Pedagogic coordinators from Florence
Preschool System; and a Visit and
observation of pre-school pedagogical
model of "Margherita Fasolo" (https://
www.scuolafasolo.net/) on Thursday
morning where the participants were
able observe preschool activities based
on an active learning approach. This
Multiplier Event ended with a sharing
moment with local preschool teachers.
