Daniella Igartua Hubber Highlighter- November 2013
Daniella Igartua was introduced to KiDz HuB Media Network by Khirlu Burton her instructor from Lehman College. During a summer course that she attended taught by Mr Burton, entitled, College Now , she realized her niche, to be in production where she is most happy.
Leyna Leonardt Hubber Highlighter- October 2013
Leyna has been participating in KiDz HuB since March 2013. She lives in Marlboro, NJ and attends Marlboro Elementary School. She is beginning her third year at Dance Attitudes where she enjoys jazz, ballet and tap. Leyna shares that she does not play sports, but if she did, “I would pick soccer.” Her favorite color is red and she loves Taylor Swift.
Charlie Schottle Hubber Highlighter- August 2013
Charlie has been a committed “Hubber” since he joined the program at its headquarters in the USA. Each month we all look forward to Charlie’s radio broadcast, “The King of Crafting”. He never ceases to amaze us with his passion for sharing his knowledge of crafts.We are all very proud of you Charlie for your perseverance and commitment to developing yourself through the KiDz HuB Media Network, A Positive Place Where Kids, Tweens and Teens Konnect!
Joshua Dillon Hubber Highlighter- July 2013
Joshua shared with the interviewer that initially he was sent out to interview and then edit. He was not as intrigued with the interviewing and broadcastings as he was with the editing. Joshua says that he was required to recall many things from memory, especially the KiDz HuB statement and mantra. He admits that these experiences were good “lessons in organizing time.”
Jhon Marc Prince Hubber Highlighter- June 2013
Jhon Marc has broadcasted two years in a row at the Penn Relays Carnival in Pennsylvania and Co-hosted ”Pickney Palav”, a radio show hosted by 30 year veteran broadcaster Gerrard “Uncle Gerry” McDaniel on RJR 94 fm in Jamaica.
Kennedi Williams Libert Hubber Highlighter- May 2013
In an interview with the Senior Editor of KiDz HuB Media Network, Kennedi stated that the KiDz HuB organization provides representation for youth. This representation has provided her with the voice and confidence that she needs to be successful in making a difference in her desire to pursue a career in law enforcement. She will graduate from high school in June and plans to attend Cornell University in Utica, New York in September. There she will begin her studies in Criminal Justice. Her passion is to study law and eventually become a Judge.
Jaime Silverman Hubber Highlighter- April 2013
Jaime explains, “It was not until my Junior year of high school that I found something that sparked my interest. Joining KiDz HuB really broke me out of my shell……For the past two years, I have grown and expanded my confidence level and enthusiasm.” After Hurricane Sandy, as a KiDz HuB Junior Broadcaster, she had the opportunity to interview the Mayor of Old Bridge, New Jersey at a town hall meeting meeting..
