MISSION As a non-profit substance abuse prevention organization in the area , we are dedicated to creating awareness and are passionate about preventing the onset of addiction and substance abuse in the Tuscaloosa and West Alabama area . We are committed to being a consistent resource to all age groups in the community and helping people retain their freedom by remaining addiction free .
VISION Working in close partnership with area school systems , families , businesses , governments , and community groups , R . E . A . D . Y determinedly increases awareness and implements proven , holistic , evidenced-based programs directly aimed at the prevention and intervention of the life-destroying substance abuse and addiction problems in our Tuscaloosa and West Alabama youth populations .
