I ’ m sure you are like me and cannot wait for cooler weather to bring some relief from our southern heat . Summer sure is fun , but I think I ’ ve had enough . The sounds from stadiums throughout our community are a sign it ’ s at least on its way !
In this issue of Kids Life Magazine , we are excited to share from the Tuscaloosa Public Library about some of their new programs and ways to bring library resources to schools and d residents in our community . If you are not familiar with Tuscaloosa International Friends , I ’ d encourage you to read about their organization and consider becoming a Friendship family to a local international student . For those who Roll with the Crimson Tide and plan to travel to this year ’ s away games , you might find Linda Holloway ’ s article helpful in finding accommodations in those locations if you haven ’ t already . We ’ ve even included a UA football schedule that you can tear out and keep handy !
Additionally , if you are planning or considering a trip to Walt Disney World and looking for ways to make it more affordable , I hope you enjoy my Disney On A Dime piece in this issue with strategies , tips and tricks I ’ ve learned to help save and maximize your vacation dollars .
