F
vironment. Holy Spirit encourages self-discipline, commit-
ment, and family involvement.
Leading up to the recent Covid 19 crisis, the faculty and
administration made adjustments to ensure that the students
continue the same standards of opportunities through remote
learning that the students would normally receive on campus.
The staff has used what’s being called C.A.S.E (the Continua-
tion of Academic and Spiritual Education) to ensure that the
students receive the necessary tools to complete their course
of study for the school year through Zoom class meetings and
Google Classroom assignments, which began immediately af-
ter Spring Break. Because of the greater emphasis on home-
work and study, Catholic school students develop more effec-
tive writing skills and score signifi cantly above the national
averages on standardized testing. For information on how
your family can benefi t from all that Holy Spirit School has
to offer, please

or almost 60 years, Holy Spirit Catholic
School has offered outstanding educational
opportunities to students in the Tuscaloosa
area. Students not only develop a high level of
academic and athletic achievement but also
grow in their faith, develop socially, and provide service to
their community. A college preparatory curriculum sets stu-
dents on a path for lifelong success. Prayer, study, and com-
munity service are integrated into the schedule along with a
program designed to challenge each student to reach their
potential academically, spiritually, athletically, socially, and
physically. Students are encouraged to have integrity, think
critically, become dignifi ed leaders, respect life and God’s
creation, value learning, pursue excellence, and gain self con-
fi dence through challenges in a changing world.
The Holy Spirit Family welcomes students to a home away
from home. With other Catholic Schools across the nation and
around the world, Holy Spirit Catholic School offers families
a complete curriculum including Christian values, fi ne arts,
sports programs, and enrichment opportunities in order to
meet the needs of the whole student. Programs PK3 through
high school develop the students’ full potential and graduate
individuals who have gone on to successful leadership po-
sitions in areas of
academic achieve-
ment, fi ne art
recognition, ath-
letic scholarship,
and philanthropy.
