MATHNASIUM OF TUSCALOOSA
Mathnasium is a math learning center which caters to children in grades 2-12 . Each child has a customized learning plan created for them based on results obtained from an assessment . We work with kids needing assistance in strengthening their math background and foundational skills as well as students desiring math enrichment . We also offer ACT and SAT math prep . Our students work individually with our team of instructors either in-center or online . Instructional hours are M-F 3:00-7:00 . THE UA READING CLINIC The UA reading clinic provides programs during the school year and summer for children in grades K-6 . Classes are designed for students who need intervention due to reading disability , characteristics of dyslexia , and dyslexia , and are individualized to meet each child ’ s needs using structured literacy methods and dyslexia specific curriculum . Instructors include UA faculty with PhDs in literacy education who are working toward dyslexia therapist certification and UA students trained to use the S . P . I . R . E . curriculum . Email Dr .
