UA Young Writers Camp
The University of Alabama Young Writers Camp fosters creativity and a range of writing and artistic skills in a fun , accepting , interactive environment .
All rising 6th-12th graders are welcome ! Students will write independently and in collaborative groups in response to a wide range of creative prompts , share their writing , and learn about the contemporary literary scene under the guidance of experienced writers in the MFA Program in Creative Writing . The camp will conclude with a public reading and a celebration of student work . When : June 2-13 , 10 am-4 pm Where : English Building , campus of the University of Alabama
Cost : $ 225 for the two weeks of programming , which includes snacks , a T-shirt , and writing materials . Sack lunch required .
