Kentuck ’ s Aspiring Artists Summer Camp Session A ( Ages 12-16 ): Tuesdays in June and July ; 10am-

Class description : Enroll your aspiring artists in an 8-week summer camp with Molly Nelko and Sam Wolf at Kentuck Art Center ! This exciting program allows participants to explore various art media and techniques , learning what it takes to be an artist — from creating to exhibiting their work . Kentuck ’ s Summer Clay Camp Various dates in June and July ; ages 6-9 and 10-12 Get creative with clay in a 3-day ceramics camp led by Amy Smoot at Kentuck Art Center ! Perfect for young artists , this camp introduces students to a variety of hand-building techniques , including slab building , pinching , coiling , and stamping . Participants will explore the entire ceramics process , from shaping their creations to glazing and decorating functional or sculptural artworks . Kentuck ’ s Summer Art Exploration Camp June 9-12 , 2025 ; 9:00am-11:00am ; ( ages 7-9 ) July 14-17 , 2025 ; 9:00am-11:00am ; ( ages 10-12 ) This engaging camp introduces young artists to a variety of media and practices , including drawing with pencil and charcoal and painting with watercolor and acrylics . Over four days , students will explore still-life , landscapes , and the basics of portraiture , while honing their individual talents and interests . Kentuck ’ s Teen Wheel Throwing Summer Camp June 10-12 and July 8-10 ; 3:00-4:30pm ; ages 13-16 Ready to take your creativity for a spin ? This hands-on pottery camp is perfect for teens ( ages 13-16 ) who want to explore the art of wheel throwing . Students will learn techniques to create functional pieces like cups , bowls , and mugs while receiving step-by-step guidance — from shaping their creations on the wheel to decorating and glazing . We ’ ve got plenty of fun recreational , educational & creative activities planned this summer for students entering grades K- 6th grade . Enjoy swimming , indoor and outdoor playgrounds , games , sports , STEAM , arts & crafts , learning , park green spaces exploration , and trails . Activities will consist of hands-on discovery , arts & culture , sports , and more ! We also have exciting field trips planned ! ( Georgia Aquarium , Montgomery Zoo & more !) Please note , campers will need to bring a lunch , two snacks , and three drinks ( or a refillable water bottle ) each day .
PARAkids Day Camp is not licensed for preschoolers and does not currently have resources to provide special education / needs services .
