Toys are not only the developers and educators but also the indicators of societies development and advancement over the years . From bow and arrows made of bush wood to today ’ s transformers , toys truly indicate the transformation the world has gone through the years .
Toys are the prototypes of technology which today ’ s children would have to encounter going forward in their life . Hence it is great that the toy manufacturers and retailers took steps in 1949 to promote the toy industry with a trade fair and organized the first Spielwarenmesse in 1950 , long before the world noticed the importance of toys in developing the adults of tomorrow .
