The first edition of Kids India generated an excellent interest from the toy industry. All important decision makers of the Indian toy trade and industry were spotted at India’s largest B2B event from 24 – 26 October 2013. The fulminant start with 5,237 buyers and retailers exceeded all expectations and impressed the 108 exhibitors. They presented toys, baby articles, licensed products, sport articles, leisure and hobby articles in a 6,200 sqm exhibition area. National and international exhibitors were really satisfied with the good results and business opportunities generated at the event and already applied again for 2014. Especially the exceptional high number and the quality of visitors as well as the number of contacts with new customer potential were evaluated as really good. 96% of the exhibitors would also recommend to business partners to take part at Kids India. The top three reasons for them to exhibit at Kids India 2013 were to make new business contacts, get in contact with distributors and to provide visitors with information about their products. On the visitor side the results are positive as well. The reasons for visiting Kids India were mainly the search for new and quality products as well as the looking for background information and business knowledge.
