SKILLS

8.) There are many skills associated with kickboxing in which one must have to successfully perform this sport, one being your stance. Stances are the position from which all attacking and defensive moves begin. The basic front stance is used for mobility, and is essential for balance, defence and readiness. In order to achieve this stance, the feet are approximately shoulder width in distance forward and back. The lead foot should be turned slightly inwards. The rear foot is placed parallel to the front foot. The knees are bent and weight is evenly distributed to both legs in a balanced stance.

9.) Not only does kickboxing keep you physically fit, it is also a stress reliever. Its intense workout, including punching and kicking continuously, can help get out your feelings of frustration or anger. Practicing kickboxing moves can also help to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
