Main Course: Honey Glazed Ham with Cauliflower/Broccoli Casserole and Parmesan Crusted Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients for Ham:

1 (5 pound) ready-to-eat ham

¼ cup of whole cloves

¼ cup dark corn syrup

2 cups honey

2/3 cups butter

Preparation of Ham:

1.Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

2.Score ham, and stud with the whole cloves. Place ham in foil lined pan.

3.In the top half of a double boiler, heat the corn syrup, honey and butter. Keep glaze warm while baking ham.

4. .Brush glaze over ham, and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Baste ham every 10 to 15 minutes with the honey glaze. During the last 4 to 5 minutes of baking, turn on broiler to caramelize the glaze. Remove from oven, and let sit a few minutes before serving.

Ingredients for Casserole:

A head of broccoli

A head of cauliflower

1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup

1 cup of milk

1 egg

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

2 cups of grated cheese (your preference)

1 bag of croutons

¼ cup of melted butter

Preparation for Casserole:

1.) Wash and cut broccoli cauliflower and place in a 9 x 11 baking dish.

2.) Mix remaining ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese, the butter, and the croutons.

3.) Pour the mixed ingredients over the broccoli and cauliflower.

4.) Smash the croutons into little pieces. Put the croutons on top of the dish.

5.) Pour the melted butter on top, and put the rest of the cheese on top.

6.) Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, then take the cover off for the last 10-15 minutes. Take out of oven and let cool until it is ready to serve.

Ingredients for Scallops:

For the Potatoes:

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 small yellow onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup low-sodium vegetable broth

1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 pounds russet potatoes, sliced into 1/8-inch slices

1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese

For the Parmesan Panko Topping:

4 tablespoons melted butter

3/4 cup Panko bread crumbs

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
