What is so great about swimming?

Whats so good about swimming is you can go swim lengths then you can just go relax and splash about in the water. Find your local swimming center and swim or have fun. Go along and take your friends swimming. There are lots of things to do, race with each other, play water tag, water fights or even dive to pick up things you chuck into the pool that sink. See plenty of cool things to do so go on look on the internet for your local swimming center.

Swimming tips:

Swim from slow to fast, also always try to keep your body streamlined it is easier for you to swim faster. When you lift your head up your hips go down therefore your body is not stream line. To stop this happening don't lift up your head turn it.

In addition to these tips there are just a few more I would like to share. If you enter a speed swimming competition you need to be relaxed. Say you are running and some one tells you to go as fast as you can you go all tense and hold your breath, meaning you can't go very far, so you have to relax and stay calm to swim fast and far. Also practise makes perfect. Practice these tips and become the swimmer you have inside you.
